Noticed on the website that ARuba has this One Cool Family program for the spring/summer. A lot of activities t discount
prices. Has anyone taking advantage of this in the past. How does it work. Thanks for the response.

We went to Aruba, August of 2001 and stayed at the Wyndhamm. When we checked in they gave us a list of participating restaurants that you could show this card when you ordered the meals and kids ate free as long as they ate of the childrens menu. One paying adult per child. There were other discounts I believe, but we only used the food savings. I was a really nice savings. All the restaurants that we ate at were very good. I just came back from Aruba 4/01/02 and they were advertising this promotion again for this summer. We are going back August 2002. My family can't wait! Four more months but who's counting.

Website mentions that it starts in June and ends in September.

I'm not sure what the day camp is like. My boys were 8 & 10 last year, and they just played in the water and sand. Friends went with us that have kids their ages, as well.

We stayed there and our two boys loved the kids club...from 10 to 4 they were busy and independent....The caregivers are friendly and caring....My wife was at ease even though they were not in sight.

It is all the kids talk about...we are going back 4/11/02 and are they excited.

Arts and crafts, video games, VCR, swimming, scavenger hunts, ice cream, butterfly farm excursion, sand castles and more..

I just cant believe it costs just $20 per kid for as long as you stay..

It gives the parents a great deal of flexibility.

Thank you for the info. I called Wyndham but did not get much info from the girl I spoke with. My son is anxious to see what it's like though I keep telling him I want to see how I feel,(makes me feel good when you said your wife felt good about it)

Do they have the children grouped by age? What ages are allowed to participate in the day camp program? Thanks!
