best way to sightsee with twin 1 year old, should we go on a tour or should we rent a jeep?
also, should we buy those hiking carriers for the tots? or just take the double stroller?

Best to rent a jeep and go by yourself in case the twins get tired or act up. Then you can stop or go back to beach etc. The bus is not going to turn around for you for 4 hours.

If you take the kids in a jeep make sure you have hats for them as it gets very hot out there. Extra sunscreen won't either.

I have twins too. I traveled to florida with them when they were 1 and it was very trying. My advice is get a minivan with air conditioning. nothing worse than 2 hot babies. The Buccaneer restaurant will amuse them. It has giant fish tanks all around the perimeter of the dining rooms. Baby beach has no waves. They might do well there. This year my twins are 4 and we brought them to Aruba. They loved it and cant wait to go back! Good luck!
