HI! I have been to Aruba several times but this is the first time with my baby. He will still be using Similac Alimentum formula when we go in July. Does anyone know if this formula is sold somewhere in ARUBA? It would be expensive to buy but.... much easier.

The last two times I've been in Aruba I had a least one of my kids on formula. My oldest was on Nutramigen and the grocery stores did not carry it...and I don't recall seeing the alernative either, Alimentum. My suggestion would be to bring a couple of cans with you (just to be on the safe side). What I did was calculate how much formula my daughter needed before I left and then brought it from home. I hope this helps as I know how specialized this type of formula is. Have a great time in July I'm sure your little one will love it. I know both my kids did!

Thanks for responding friends! My son currently uses Similac Alimentum LIQUID. We are starting this week on the powder so then it will be posssible to BRING this formula on our trip! Cross your fingers!

Just was there and ran out of our Allimentum on the last day. I did find it only in 1 grocery store. I wish I could tell you the name, but I can tell you the location. It is along the strip off of 1A with all the grocery stores (Hong King, Super Foods, etc.) If you go a little further past these stores, there is a grocery store, tucked inside a mall (yellow sign..Mega Mall??). The Pharmacy at "Eagle" carries it and will get from the agency on your request (no extra charge). I have also seen it at one of the Supermarkets on the strip. You can contact Ling and sons online. They will even deliver necessities to your hotel for when you arrive.
