Re: Staying at Wynham for first time

I was just there in January and it was fabulous. All inclusive is the way to go. They have 3 or 4 restaurants in the Hotel. We had a great time there. Enjoy it.

Re: Staying at Wynham for first time

We really liked the Wyndham.

The food is very good. All the restaurants are excellent. They have a kids program with "Sponge Bob Square Pants". Make sure to sign up before you go and you kids will get Sponge Bob Shirts and other stuff. Check out their website for more info

The beach is very good for kids. the ocean there is very calm and clear. Take sunscreen with you as it's expensive there and the sun is harsh.

There is also a video game room on the lower level lobby for the kids. I think there was a Nintendo or Playstation setup on a TV down there also while we were there.

You'll want to have the mini fridge bar in your room locked most likely if you have 4 boys. The kids will wipe out your wallet if they get into it's cokes and candy bars. I think cokes in it were about $3 each. if you need a fridge for snacks, milk, etc, the hotel will rent you one for $5-$10/day. We used used one of those fold up coolers and it worked fine.

The only negative things I can say about it are the pool bar "sucks" and the hot tubs water was "yellow" and nasty. I wasn't impressed by the lazy poor service at the Hertz rental car counter either, but this wasn't the Wyndhams fault as it's not their employees.

hope that helps some. feel free to email if you have more questions

Re: Staying at Wynham for first time

I just stayed at the Wyndham in Feb. I really enjoyed myself. As soon as you get there go to the conceire and ask to see the book of restaurants. Call and get reservations wherever you want to eat in advance. There are lots of things you can do outside of the hotel. Your kids might enjoy going on the 4 wheeler tour. Have a great time!

I will be staying at the Wyndham last week in April and I will be doing the (all-inclusive)So,I will let you know what I think when I return...Did you register with Wyndham by request?Someone told me to do that because it has some good perks(ie,drinks and snacks waiting for you in your room when you get there. You can register by going to Wyndham.com.Just make sure you do a seprate one for other people in your room if you want them to get the perks too....Good luck, and I will be checking back when I return...
