summer travel

Is summer considered the less crowded time to travel to Aruba? Several people have commented on how crowded some of the resorts can be. We are planning to travel in July 2010. We have 2 kids ages 8 and 12 who absolutely love the beach. We are considering the Marriott Surf Club, but some of the posts make me nervous. We are interested in a suite/villa/kitchen. Would love to hear from those who have visited during the month of July. We are so excited about the upcoming vacation and I want to make sure that I do research and choose the right accommodations.

Summer is considered low season. Aruba is a family island, so when children are out of school, you will find the island is still quite busy. The Surf Club is popular with families for the reasons you mentioned.
