I bought a fold up sunshade (tent) at Babies R Us last year. You could probably find it on line. It's really nice because it zips closed and it has mosquito netting so that air gets in there. I'm sure if you put the baby in something like that they'd be pretty much protected. It folds into a circle and comes with a carying case also so it will fit nicely in a suitcase.
