Re: teenagers

Our kids have come to the island with us for twenty years and still love it. There is lots to do and they won't have any problems.

Re: teenagers

We are taking our two sons 19 &14 over the Christmas break. Lined up an extreme jeep tour and jolly pirtaes snorkeling boat ride with family. They will go scuba diving without us. Picked Aruba because we hear it will be safe for them to go out a little on their own, (boys!!!), since as teens we are thinking they'd prefer some independence from us. Staying at the Wyndham and renting a car for 3 of 5 days. Will let you know.

Re: teenagers

OK, so we just got back with our two teens. There were a lot of teens in Aruba although at our hotel a large proportion seemed to know eachother since they came with families that were friends. Late afternoon many teens populating the beaches. Very safe and lots to do. Mine are 14 &b 19 so too far apart in age to do any serious on their own hanging out together and our oldest was not willing to go out by himself at night. But if he chose to do so I would have been very comfortble. As a family we did a half day ABC Xtreme Island Tour, 3-6 Jolly Pirates snorkeling tour, and they went diving with Dive Aruba one afternoon without us. All 3 activities were freat. Family friendly restaurants included Texas de Brazil and French Steakhouse as well as Sole Mare. Happy with all of these. Also, Cafe Amici a good place to people watch and have ice cream, kind of European cafe style. Only spent a couple of hrs in city but defintelt felt they could be on their own there. We ate at Iguan Joes for lunch. Hope this helps.
