5'm with ya sweetlou, I have a 15&16 yr old....so, here's my take on it...Senor Frogs has the water slide and dancing. We went at around 8 and our teens did the slide while we had a drink. Check out the new water show at the new mall near the high rises. It takes place on the hour and is very much worth the effort. You can walk around the area of Salt and Pepper, Hooters and see all the little kiosks. There is also a TGIF, Champions Bar that shows all the games, espn stuff, a fun thing is also the sunset aboard one of the boats, there is always music at the Renaissance Mall and people sit around and eat and drink. Thats about all I can think of right now...but, i know where you're coming from.....

we found that if we had a late afernoon snack, would not want dinner until late in the evening. most nights we did not get to resturant until 8pm or so, so by the time dinner was over was close to 10pm. Worked for us.

We have a 14, 16, &18 year olds who have been coming with us to Aruba for ten years. They meet other teens and will do things with them at night but mostly end up going out for dinner with us. Go Carting was a big hit with the kids before they got their driver's licence as was mini golf, movies, going out to dinner on their own and of course going to the Casino (yours are a little young for that!). We also took them to the Arcade at the Go Carting place as it was a little larger than the hotel ones.
Early to rise means early to bed. That solves a lot of the night activity issues as after a late dinner we are all ready to go to sleep!!

this person that is quoted says there is no enforcement on gambling age.

i cannot remember ever NOT seeing a government inspector perched at each casino entrance keeping a watchful eye.

these inspectors, although looking bored to tears, are required to stop those that need an id check and various other reasons for stopping folks.

We entered through the meeting room area (north side) and navigated through the construction to a small area in the North tower; the space was insufficient and temporary counters were established. People and luggage were in a tight space. Check-in was a lengthy wait. Some room have been renovated; we liked ours. All rooms have great views. The pool and beach areas are very nice. The casino (while attached) is separately managed; we noted teenagers gambing and mingling with adults. There was no enforcement of the age limit. On the negative, this property will continue to get more crowded since Marriott is building more vacation units here; this will only add more people to the limited beach area. For an adults only vacation, I'd recommend the Renaissance.

sweet,
on thurs night you can go on a "tamer' night on the banana bus with your teens! they go to mambo jambo for dinner and a dance show - all ages welcome.
ck out some of the ships that have a "dinner" sails as well.
also at the new mall by Hol Inn Paseo they have a movie theater with a Fridays and a water show. YOu will find teens there.
I noticed at the Marriott early eves many families BBQ by the Lazy river with tweens getting together there.
IN the daytime there is a new activity to make/design really great looking jewelry in a shop next to Ling and Sons. If you have a few more to participate I wld imagine they would take you a bit later??
Hope this helps!
