i am planning a vacation in may and my daughter will be 10 mos old i was told u need a car to get everywhere so we are looking for all inclusive to have everything right there for us i have been reading about the tamajarin and divi what beach are they located on and is their a lot of restaruants to choose from
There are 2 buffets (all 3 meals), 3 a la cartes and 6 beach bars, some which serve burgers, pizza, snacks etc. a la cartes open only for evening dinner. See pix of both resorts at www.geocities.com/THEFEEL2002 I'll send you some printed info on the resorts.
When jets go up and down think the pressure gets to their ears. So have bottle ready as was told sucking actions helps with the pressure or whatever. Some medical person can explain it. Also understand you can buy something to put in the ears.
If going AI would recommend the Divi over the Tam. Walked all around and through both in June. The winter storms did a number on the Tam beach. If beach person go with the Divi.
----- Actually what does a car have to do with going AI. Also look at Bucuti or Manchebo. There are 4 restaurants a very short walk from those resorts. Also short walk to a donut shop, a bagel shop, and a subway shop from those. Getting around has nothing to do with AI.
----- Recommendation: If still using bring your own baby car seat(one with handle). Found great for carrying baby everywhere. Our 3 month old grandson got a tour of a kitchen from the owner. She said just had to show him to ladies in back. Baby can enjoy bottle while you have dinner at the restaurants in the car seat.
Forgot to add. The Divi/Tam are on Druif beach. You can catch the public bus downtown every 20 minutes or so on the main street out front of Divi or Tam. It costs $1.25 each way or tell them you want a round trip pass when you get on and it is $2.00. You get a slip back to use that same day. This bus also runs up and down the beach/shoreline to all the resorts. Take a cheap tour of the coast while putting the baby to sleep. The baby is free on the bus. Ignore jackiewv above who also uses other aliases to project his psychotic behavior on others. There are a few more on this board too. Have a great time. Tom Frederick above is THE Aruba guru. He can help you out with anything you need to know, especially when it comes to young'ins. What is it up to now Tom?---you raised 20 kids and grandkids there every vacation
THANK U GUYS FOR BEING SO NICE I ACTUALLY THOUGHT OF SOMETHING I CAN BRING THE CAR SEAT AND BRING THAT CARRIAGE TYPE THING THAT THE CAR SEAT SNAPS INTO ITS A UNIVERSAL THING FOR ALL CAR SEATS AND THIS WAY I DON'T HAVE TO BRING THE CARRIAGE
