Traveling with two 4 year olds...

I would like to take them snorkeling. Jolly Pirate or Depalm tours? Also - any great child-fun restaurants anyone would recommend?
Thank you!

Sweet....our two were 4 and 5 when we first went (1997).

Try Casa Tua and Hard Rock.

Kids like the Bucanneer, it has large fish tanks. Also, you might want to look at Depalm island and their water park.

We took our 5 year old and 2 year old to Depalm island. They have a waterpark for young children. It is pricey but they had a blast. You can snorkel there as well. The food and drinks are included but IMO not that good. But the fun they had at the waterpark was worth it for us.

Thank you - very helpful! This will be their 3rd time to Aruba but the first trip that they will actually remember. Can't wait to see their faces!

Talking Jolly Pirate?

Someone mentioned that their was oil in the water during their snorkeling experience? Did anyone experience that? I am really torn between Depalm water park or just booking a snorkeling trip. Depalm water park is pricey - wow...

I would imagine oil leaks from the wreck of the Antilla from time to time, but in about 10 years of following various Aruba forums, I have only seen it mentioned once. We did not have any issues when we were there with JP's.

Hi everyone!
Hvnt heard for a while now about oil by the antilla.
Yes, lisa is correct it does happen on occassion when the wind shifts and the wreck settles a bit more....more...
this is not a "jolly" thing, but an "antilla" thing.
Thanks Lisa and all for the jolly - nods! much appreciated!
You will hv a great time on whichever you choose- Everyone here does a great job with the kids and everyone has their favorites.
