It really is a great bargain! I was just playing around with May dates and found a 3 bedroom, 2 bath for $30.00 a night. If you select 2 people it comes out to $150.00 a night which is a decent rate but if you select 3 people, $30.00 per night! If I didn't have backed up banked timeshare weeks that I own in Florida, I would have booked it but I paid my maintenance fees and I'm trading to Aruba..
As you know, It's usually about dollars and cents. With the construction going on, which didn't appear to be intrusive at all, and the push to sell the newly renovated timeshare units, we're thinking the reasons for the low rates. And I wonder what their vacancy rate is?
Yep, easy to get around the sales staff. I gave one a stiff arm on Wednesday

The change in price will make sure I don't try to "force" an extra trip in June...I have considered the$30 room a thousand times but I guess it was not meant to be for me. I will keep my eyes for another to good to be true special.
I booked the $30 special for an additional, unanticipated, trip in September on 3/7 (deluxe king). I emailed Trop to confirm and request renovated room, was told that I would need to book a premium room so I canceled and rebooked. Again emailed the Trop to confirm, have been forwarded to 3 different agents, who keep asking me to forward my confirmation. Upon doing so, I do not get a response. Getting inpatient and nervous
