We are going to Aruba for our first time next week. I've been watching the weather off & on for a few weeks & it looks like it is "scattered showers" or "partly cloudy" all the time. Is this true? I had heard it hardly rains!

The Weather's been great as usual...I don't think you should have a problem

I went to Aruba one year ago during the same week you are going and it was sunny and beautiful every day. It rained for 15 minutes one day. Be careful though, the sun is very strong. You have to apply sunblock more than once or you WILL get burned.

We had some partly cloudy days last week. BUT, you still get a lot of sun. You still need sunscreen.

The weather forcast will almost always show a chance of showers. I checked it the day before we left back in October... only to see all 7 days showing rain! We got there and it was beautiful, only a quick shower one day and a heavy rain storm which passed quickly on our last day.

Partly cloudy days are still beautiful! Occassional clouds actually are a nice break from the hot sun!

The only thing you'll have to worry about is
that you don't fry and look like a boiled
lobster. Rain is rare and it usually lasts only for 20-30 minutes but usually at night. There are exceptions of course.
