A pack in play with an umbrella, a stroller with an umbrella, and an umbrella. Stock up on sunscreen also. A good thing to keep her busy down there is to buy a little pair of morroccas(sp) That kept out daughter happy for a while. A hat is a definate also, sunglasses if she will keep them on as well.

A plastic pail and shovel always keeps them busy in the sand. Give extra water or milk for extra heat.

we travelled to florida when our daughter was one - i only brought her "favorite" toys; the ones we couldn't do without. she feel asleep on the plane so we were very lucky. we rented a crib from the hotel and only brought a stroller - oh, we also rented a carseat. good luck - good for you!

Re: what to bring for baby

Try to get your flight during nap time. Have a bottle ready for take off and landing. Bring your car seat with you so you can put them in the seat on the plane. It will make your flight more enjoyable. Bring some favorite toys and snacks for the flight. A hat for the pool and t-shirt. Plenty of sun block. You can rent a crib at the hotel. Bring an umbrella stroller. Let the ariline know you will be checking it at the gate so you can keep the baby in it until you board.
You will have a great time. Everyone on the island is great with helping out. and making your stay enjoyable.

Re: what to bring for baby

We just traveled to aruba w/ our one year old and what kept her busy on the plane and at restaurants was a portable dvd player. We brought the pack and play and a stroller and that was it, her favorite blanket and a few of her small toys....she did great and she is not one who likes to sit still. keep putting sunscreen on the baby and after awhile i put a long sleeve shirt on her while outside, she did not get red at all. oh and a hat that was it....have a great time
