Re: What do i do if I bring

We have been going to Aruba with our 2 girls since they were born (now 10 & 11). I asked our 11 year old and her favorite things to do are going on a snorkeling boat trip, going snorkeling on DePalm Island, visiting the butterfly farm, visiting the ostrich farm, shopping in Oranjestad, swimming in any pool with a slide, playing in the ocean, hunting for seashells, and going windsurfing.

We have many exciting kids activities on our website www.arubahouse.com. Just click on the green box for the new website and then go to Other Activities.

Don't worry - both you and she will have a blast!

Don't forget hair braiding. The status symbol for young girls who have been on a Caribbean vacation.

visiting the ostrich farm

>>>> " visiting the ostrich farm "
--- Can recommend this one. Last June went there and very good deal. About 5 of us went. For like $29 each they came and got us, had a tour, had a lunch, and took us back to resort. All included. The farm is on the other side of the island so you also get to see a little of the island.

Another great place, and this might sound ridiculous, was the tour of the Aloe plant. Very interesting, and my 13 AND 15 yr old teens enjoyed it. They bought all the stuff in the shop there, shampoo, aloe sun screen...a good take.
ALSO the Depalm Palm Pleasure 2-5 catamaran boat was an excellent take.

I betcha that your grand daughter will be quite happy with all of the activities that folks have suggested in their posts.

Undoubtedly she will meet many other kids her age.
