2 days to go -Tips?

Leaving in 2 days. We're at the Divi all inclusive. Wondering about tipping and travelers checks. Are travelers checks easily cashed in the hotel lobby? Tipping while on the all inclusive? Any one have thoughts?

You can use travelers checks anywhere on the island.

RE: 2 days to go -Tips?

If you read the trip reports on the other Aruba bb's it appears most folks do tip even though they're on an AI plan where tips are included and it's not necessary. $5.00 a day to your bartender if you drink a fair amount seems to be the average with those who do. $5.00 to your bell hop and $25.00 at the end of the week to you room person would be average. Most front desks will cash travelers checks up to a certain amount each day, usually $100.00. You can also cash them at the Alhambra Casino which is a very short walk from Divi, don't know if they have a limit on the amount per day. Any of the other casino's will cash them too. Have always been asked for ID when doing it at the casinos. Many of the activities off your resort will accept them and so do the stores if you go shopping and the restaurants as well if you decide to eat off the resort while out and about.

K-

Tipping at the all-inclusive resorts is not required, but if you feel that you have received extraordinary service, then go ahead and tip them. The decision really is yours.

Thank you for all the comments. I didn't ask to sound cheap. I really just wondered what is the "norm"
