Just returned fron the allegro after two great weeks. Booked week 6 for 2007 2/3 to 2/10. Looking for anyone with something for week 5 or week 7. At the allegro or close by.

Michael
How is the rennovation coming along? Are the restaurants and pool open? How annoying was the construction noise and constructin dust? Many timeshare owners would be very interested in your feedback. Any other info would be appreciated.

Re: 2007

The rooms should be finished by May or June. Thats my opinion. Some restaurants should be done also they are really working hard on them. Especially the breakfast buffet area. The old lounge and pool area will be finished. The pool was redone and a few palapas and palm trees added aroun the pool. The noise was almost nil except once in a while the jackhammer . You may think i'm nuts but we had a great time. We don't have AI> And the restaurants in the area between the hotels and across the street were more than enough. Plus we cooked a couple of nights a week or reheated the leftovers. The pool was great, becaus no one was around it. We relaxe with some beers and drinks after the beach at poolside with people staying at the place. lots of fun. And the beach is still the best location. Don't forget you're still in Aruba.

Re: 2007

Michael,
Did you use the all inclusive plan? I am considering purchasing a time share there and I understand they are under that plan. My friends bought when it was the Allegro and now it is the Occidental, so they can opt out on the all inclusive. I wonder if newcomers can do the same? Thanks.

Hello Michael,

I just read your note. Please check according to my calendar for a Sat. to Sat.
timeshare for week 6 for 2007 is Feb. 10 to Feb. 17. Your dates are for week 5.

We also went week 7 this year. and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy.
