Would welcome any suggestions as to where to stay. We will be going in August.

The hyatt is excellent although pricey. The radisson is also nice. If money is no object, stay at the hyatt, just don't gamble or eat there.

if you want to have a very nice peaceful time with you and your wife on the beach a very nice laid back resort is the bucuti very very clean and very very nice if you are more into crowds stay at lacabana
