After Check Out?

We are staying at the Casa Del Mar at the end of Nov and our flight home is quite late. Can we leave our luggage at the front desk after we've checked out of our room? I'm thinking we'll have time to hit the casino and have lunch before we catch a cab to the airport.

Yes, leave your stuff with the bellman (get a receipt)
Some places even offer a hospitality area where you can even shower and dress.
We have done it at Lacabana, Renaissance, and the Aruba Grand (now a RIU).

and welcome to the aruba.com community forum!

Andrea, thank you for the warm welcome! Our flight doesn't leave until 5:15, so we don't have to be at the airport until 2pm. With check out at 11:00 that leaves us 3 more hours to enjoy the island.
This will be my second trip. First time was with hubby, the kids and the in-laws. Didn't really get to do much of anything on the first trip, my mother was in the hospital back in the states. This time it's just me and hubby! And I've been taking notes from all the wonderful posters here.

you may be able to stay in your room till 2 if you ask for an extended checkout. It depends on whether or not your unit is needed that nite.

Please add my warm welcome to Andrea's. Just an added note; we, also, have left our luggage with the porters and they gave us a receipt. We picked them up later with absolutely no problems. Our stays have almost always been at the Marriotts. Have a nice trip home. Ed
