RE: Anyone going to the Tam?

We were at the Tam 9/21-9/28 and had a great time! The Tam is very laid back and perfect for relaxing. If you'd like to see the pictures we took go to...http://groups.msn.com/OurHoneymoonInAruba/ourhoneymooninaruba.msnw?Page=1
Have a great time!

We are going to the Tam. Nov 22,02 We Love the place it is so relaxing and the People down there treat you good. this will be our 6th time at the Tam. so I guess that should tell you how wonderful it is. the tours are great. but if you like going on your own, you should rent a 4 wheel drive, and check it out at your own speed.. If you want to know anything else just email us..... Ed & Lowie

This sounds great--I saw the honeymoon pictures and it is great to see "real people" pictures versus a brochure or the internet. I would love to see othere peoples pics and you can email me directly. Thank you!!! 0 Dianne from Michigan--

RE: Anyone going to the Tam?

Yeah, the pictures were great. I am going to the Tam the end of October and it was great pictures of the place from someone who had been there recently. I have read so many mixed reviews about the place I was beginning to think maybe I should have booked us somewhere else. But seeing your pictures I have made the right decision. What block did you stay on? I heard the 1900 was the best -- is that true? Did you go to Flying Fishbones or El Gauchos while you were there? I am celebrating my birthday and am trying to decide which restaurant to go to? Any suggestions??????

We had apprehensions too, but once we got there we knew we had made the right choice. We stayed in 1915...great room! It is clean and the AC works great! You're about 20 steps from the beach. There are rocks in the water at that particular place but right next to the Bunker Bar it's all sand! The Bunker Bar is close...Coconuts and the restaurants are a bit of a walk but we enjoyed the walks in the moonlight. I was a GREAT trip! If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.

Fay--your pictures are beautiful! I too am going to Aruba for my honeymoon in March. Did you do the honeymoon package to use both resorts? Did you go over to the Divi at all? Any info would be great! Thanks!!!

RE: Anyone going to the Tam?

We are headed to the Tam next week. It is our first trip to Aruba and wanted to know some MUST DOs. We like things off the beaten path. Also, any must have souvieners that aren't at other islands. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

As far as souvenirs go, how about an authentic Aruban license plate? You can get them for most any of the past years. Usually you can pick them up in Oranjestad at the harbor locals shops. I think they are around $5 each. Very unique.
