Re: Aruba Beach Villas
My wife and I just stayed there (end of Nov.) for our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. We had an Ocean View studio which was well laid out, clean, and nicely decorated. Between the complementary continental breakfast and all the restaurants to choose from, we didn't use the kitchenette much.
As far as, comparing to the big places, it's very different. You have your apartment, with a little deck, so it's more of a place to stay when your main interest is seeing the island. We rented a little 4x4 and spent most days driving around seeing the sites like the natural bridge, the large park, the caves, kayaking, etc.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's a great place to stay when you want to see Aruba, but don't expect the services of a resort (large pool area, shops, casinos, restaurants, bars, etc.) You are within walking distance of the Marriott and others, though.
I never took advantage of morning yoga so I can't comment. The main beach activity is sail boarding and their DBA is SailBoard Adventures. Hope this helps.
