Re: Aruba Grand
We got drinks from the bar the first day.
they were good but I was told they only
have a happy hour once a week. All the
other places seem to have happy hour everyday so I didn't undestand that.
Anyway if you are facing the beach there is
a pier to the right. They seem to have
cheap drinks in the afternoon. That pier
also had good coffee , which is important
if you need coffee in the morning. Our
standard room did not have a coffee maker
in it. I did not eat there, there are
so many good restaurants on Aruba I
never get an all inclusive. If you venture
out for dinner try Madame Jeanette or
Flying Fishbone we find them very good,
but make reservations. We also did a private snorkel trip thru Robertos we find
it much better than the bigger boats it was
great. Good Luck I think you will be happy
with the Aruba Grand, it is quiet and does
not have all the bells and whistles the
other resorts have but we sort of like that.
You can walk to the other resorts and check them out. I was skeptical also but once
I saw my room I felt better. It was very
clean and updated and the people were friendly. Have fun!!
