Hows the Aruba Grand? Is it nice? Whats it like? Please tell me because I will be staying there soon...Chris

Are you in your 70's? 80's? or 90's?? If so you will fit right in.
This is an old folks home

HOWEVER, on the upside it is a beautiful hotel....kinda reminds me of the Hemminway era....light pastels, wicker funiture and all. Plus you have a wonderful Olympic size pool too.
The casino is DEAD so the drink lady comes by often!

No matter where you stay on the island you are going to one a HOPI BON (very good) time. enjoy the quiet and make sure you hit the happy hours at Kokoa beach bar....out behind the Radisson. Also Moomba on Sunday nights Rock....down on the beach right past the Holiday Inn.

I also would like information on the Aruba Grand. Can anyone tell me where this is in relation to the other hot spots (i.e. the Marriott and other hi-rises)

Is it right on the beach?
Has anyone booked any activities through Unique Sports?
Can you walk to any other hotels from the Aruba Grand?

The Aruba Grand is next to the Wyndham and yes you can walk to all the other hotels. But the Allegro has changed their name to something like Occidental Aruba Grand so not sure which hotel you are referring to.

owned time shares over thirty years. Aruba grand is probably the most enjoyable. It has what is considered the best beach on palm beach. Plenty of shade. you do not have to get up at six oclock to get it. A lot of the help have been there for thirty years. that must tell you something about the operation, I'm sure you will be pleased.
