Aruba Grand Beach Resort

Does anyone have any info on Aruba Grand Beach Resort? We are going in August for our honeymoon and had planned to stay at Bucuti until we learned of the construction. We don't like the big high rises and we're looking for a place with a nice pool and beach and not a lot of kids? Does the Aruba Grand have any of that?

Re: Aruba Grand Beach Resort

Sounds like the Aruba Grand will be for you. We were at the Radisson next door last Aug and when we went by the AG it ALWAYS seemed EMPTY. The AGR has a great pool and the beach was always looked empty. Did not see many kids at all. One thing, the only real Highrise is the Wyndham at about 18 floors. Most of the other hotels cap off at 5 to 10 floors at most.

Re: Aruba Grand Beach Resort

My wife and I just got back from our stay at the Aruba Grand. Aruba Grand fits your criteria very well (which was the same as ours). It has a beautiful beach with many huts, a nice pool, and not nearly as many families as we saw at the other hotels next door. While the casino leaves a lot to be desired (deserted & quiet), we spent our evenings at the other hotels' casinos. The hotel is in a great location too. I would recommend this hotel based on your questions.

Re: Aruba Grand Beach Resort

Hello. Do you know whether the facility has two bedrooms suites available. I am trying very hard to locate accomodations for three adults in February, 2004. Thank you very much for any information you might be able to provide. Suzanne
