Aruba Grand Resort

Does anyone stay at this hotel lately and can give me the thought on this hotel. Is the main tower 7th & 8th floor have been remodeled and is better than other floors?

Re: Aruba Grand Resort

We stay in the lanai rooms there every year. Yes, the rooms on the 7th & 8th floors (deluxe) have been remodeled so make sure you book a deluxe room if you want a room on one of those floors.

Re: Aruba Grand Resort

We stayed at the Grand last Sept and loved it. I booked a corner room on the 7 or 8th floor and it was terrific. Yes the rooms on these floors have been remodeled. The beach is great and no trouble getting a hut. The breakfasts were nice and we ate dinner there the first night but then took a taxi to various places the other nights. The dinner was very good. They were in the process of doing some renovations in the downstairs lobby when we were there. They have also put in a laundry for the guests use. We met a couple that were in the laini rooms and they loved the fact that the beach was steps from their room although it didn't have a coffee maker and needed updating. But they liked the location very much. You will not go wrong by staying here. The people were friendly and we would definately stay here again on our return trip which I hope is soon. It was a great vacation as we are beach people.
