Well I for one am looking forward to arriving at the Aruban on April 4th and just relaxing in the sun and enjoying that tropical breeze...... At the moment north of Boston is getting 60+mph winds and heavy rain...YUK

Does anyone know if the Key Largo Casino re-opened as well? We stay at La Cabana and like walking over there sometimes. Thanks!

no it has not

i do know the hotel/timeshare is open, although not ALL units are able to be occupied.
(no big deal as that is how is was 5 months ago)
dunkin reopened
and the pool bar is being run by a private contractor with light faire and beverages including liquor
both pools and hot tubs have been drained, worked on, filled, treated and are up and running.

Key Largo is not open. They are trying to get a temporary license.

I hope they re-open too. It's a nice quiet, low key, casino that we can walk to for a visit. So glad to hear about DD's! That is key for me in the morning. Do you think the pool bar at the Aruban will allow customers from the La Cabana for happy hour??

I am sure they would love to have you as a customer and they will never turn anyone away......The more the merrier... Hard Rock is running the bar and lite faire....... So when will you be there???
