Anyone ever stayed here? I just need 2 or 3 nights..any feedback would be great, especially as to how far exactly it is from the hotels and beach. Could I get by with a taxi or bus or would I save money by just renting a car instead????

Susan- We checked out the Arubianna Inn and found it was about a 5 minute drive by car taxi to the beach. It is a very small and we did not see any signs of life. Not even by the very tiny pool. We stoped by to get some information for a friend and found the office was closed and locked. And it was 3 p.m. in the afternoon. It is not the kind of place to spend even one day. There are many reasonable and nicer places to stay for 2 or 3 days. With a little research you will find a smaller hotel to meet your needs.

I presently have reservations at this Inn for next wednesday and thursday before we go into our timeshare. The review in Frommers didnt make it sound that bad since it was clean and cheap and that is all that we need for the 2 nights we will be there. I am taking the risk- if you can wait a few weeks I can give my report when I get back at the beginning of April.

Thanks Amy...but I have a timeshare on 4/4-11 and would need to make reservation soon but still have not decided if i am going to stay longer than the week. Still would be interested in the report though..

We stayed and it was fine- kind of makes you appreciate your time share a little bit more once you move in!

We dont mind roughing it- it was a walk to get to much of anything, but we were happy to be able to go to the beach.

The room was clean- the pool was clean and just enough for us.
