Bacuti - Just Got Back

Enough can't be said about this resort. The resort, grounds, beach and employees are the best on the island. Stayed in a ocean view bungalo which was the best.

RE: Bacuti - Just Got Back

Is this far from nightlife? My daughter is planning her honeymoon and wanted to be on a beach, have watersports but be somewhere near night life, if they choose to do so. Aruba is one of her finalist spots because it is south of the hurricane belt and they are getting married in November, which I think is hurricane season.

RE: Bacuti - Just Got Back

The Bacuti is on the nicest beach in Aruba. The Bacuti does not have nightly entertainment or parties as they do not cater to that type of crowd. The Bacuti is very quite and peaceful and thats why most people stay there. The nightlife on Aruba is very limited to a few downtown locations. Unless you like going to Carlos and Charlies everynight, there is not much else out there unless you like to Gamble. I would recommend going to a few dinner shows at the high rise hotels and some of the high rise hotels have entertainment at night. If your the type that likes very loud music and getting drunk , their are a few spots downtown that can help you out.

RE: Bacuti - Just Got Back

Hi all
I will vouch to say that the Bucuti is the best place to stay for peace a quiet and the most awesome beach. The waves just thunder in. We just got back a week and a half ago. The only negative thing was deep sea fishing was NOT for me. I threw up for most of it. Rough seas for sure.
Topless bathing frequents the Bucuti. It is done rather classically with very little notice. Only the true Americans take note. It's so natural there.
I will say, that during the week, not a lot goes on but at the local hotels for entertainment. Going to town for the younger crowd works I hear.
Have fun. Relax and enjoy. Talk with the conceirge at the desk. They are very helpful!
