The best room at the tamarijin

I'm kind of confused. When I request a room at the tam what block should I ask for. We want no rocks at our part of the beach but also want to be close to the restraunts and bars so it's not a hassle for the kids and us to get drinks. I think we want ground floor. Is that the best? THX

Re: The best room at the tamarijin

We stayed in the 2500 building. There were no rocks in front, but it was a long walk to get food/drink. Friends have stayed in the 1200 building and said that they would recommend staying there, they did not mention any rocks infront of their room, so I am assuming there were none. I would not be concerned with the rocks though, we found that unless we got up early, the beach huts in front of our room were taken, so we would have to walk a short ways to get one. I think no matter where you stay, you will enjoy yourselves.Have fun!!!

Re: The best room at the tamarijin

1900 to 2500 blocks are the best for a good beach in front 15 feet from your patio, BUT a 2 minute walk or more to lobby, restaurants etc. 1900 closer than the 2500. bunker beach bar is there and open from 11 AM to 65 or 6 PM. With kids, I would recommend the 1100 to 1300 blocks, rocks in front but great beach off to the right between the divi and the tamarijn and the climbing wall/sports hut/fitness center--a 60 second walk. And 60 seconds the other way is the lobby/food/pool area. The bar over the water sports hut is not part of the all inclusive and is for the divi village timeshares. You can use it if you want to pay cash, but one of your free bars is only 200 feet away.

Kathy,
There are no good rooms at the Tam. Find another resort while you still have the chance.

Re: The best room at the tamarijin

Finally I am honored that some jackass that never reveals who they truly are decided to post under my name. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I feel privledged. For what you have requested, the 1100-1200 block would probably be the way to go. As far as the imposter goes, what goes around comes around, keep that in mind before you post under other peoples name.

Re: The best room at the tamarijin

Gary,

What gives man? Are there not 2 Gary's in this world? My wife and I stayed there on our honeymoon this past April. The place is rundown and is truly a mess. I would never stay there again. We were so unhappy that they gave us a refund and we moved to The Aruba Grand.

You're the jackass....undoubtedly now with a red face!!!

Gary the imposter of client.comcast.net--you are so full of "garbage", I can smell it way over here. You've never been to the Tam in your life and we thank you for that.

Re: The best room at the tamarijin

To the imposter, I don't believe you have been at the Tam or Divi, if you had, you would of had a wondeful time. I can also tell you you wouldn't of received a full refund either you loser. You know, there may be loudmouthed, overweight drunks at the Tam, but the same can be said for every resort on the island. Get a clue. Have you ever actaully visited Aruba jerkoff?
