Hi,

Has anyone stayed at the boardwalk? My Partner and I are booked to stay there for two weeks at the end of January. It is our first time to Aruba.

Just got back from Aruba and we stayed a week at The Boardwalk. The beds were HEAVENLY! Very clean place. We were with several couples and rented Casita 1, 4 (steps up and down to get in it but cute inside), 8 (the large bathroom has a true "throne room" which I would probably fall from in the night, lol), and the two on the downstairs end, 10 and 11? The only thing we didn't like was the vegetation by the pool and its "time release chemicals". I couldn't see my knees in the water and it is quite a small pool. Our second week we stayed elsewhere and noticed a dumpster out front with a man hacking up palm leaves on top. We think they probably cleaned up the pool area but we didn't have a chance to drive back in and see. The staff is very nice; the place was very clean, and did I mention the HEAVENLY beds!!! We rented a van and a car and drove everywhere (almost 2,000 miles or km the first week!)
