My wife and I are heading to Aruba the week of March 15th to the 22nd. This is our second trip to Aruba. We have decided on staying at Bucuti resort. We are looking for a quieter romantic type of place with a nice beach and it looks like a good fit. Has anyone stayed there and can share your impressions of your time there and any suggestions or comments about Bucuti.

Great resort.....beautiful place, beach, service, etc...you will LOVE IT...

Peter, there are glowing posts all over the various bulletin boards and in the guestbook on Bucuti's website (http://www.bucuti.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/english/dcguest.cgi). I can speak firsthand as we have been guests there 3 times and our 4th trip is in the making. We would not consider staying anywhere else as this is the type of atmosphere we sought out and found thru multiple recommendations on these bbs prior to our first visit.

Everyone will agree they cater to couples and honeymooners. For a quiet, peaceful, romantic getaway, Bucuti itself will enchant you, as will the mgmt, the staff, and of course the beach which is incredible!

Hi all!

Would a single traveler enjoy Bucuti? I'm definitely not into nightlife......just a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting. Aruba sounds like the perfect spot for me, and I've read mostly glowing reviews of Bucuti (though their habit of overbooking concerns me)......

Are there good dining options near Bucuti? I don't want to rent a car, so walking or taking a short taxi ride is no problem.......
