According to postings at www.visitaruba.com bulletin board, the Bushiri has closed it's doors, possibly permanently.

If Bushiri closes its doors "permanently", that's just about the best news anyone could hear. In my opinion, the "Department of Health" should have closed the Bushiri's doors a long time ago.

Bushiri closing is a result of pure island politics and IS NO WAY an indictment on the resort itself. THis closing is strictly temporary. Financial difficulties at Bushiri are not any different than 80% of hotels in Aruba and CAribbean. THe Bushiri had just finished a major renovation of ALL rooms and many of the other facilities. THE Hyatt, Radisson or Hyatt it isn't, but the Bushiri has for years been a very successful and popular place. BUSHIRI will be back very soon. Be careful when casting these tales of gossip and untruths.
