We are staying at La Cabana the first week in August (After reading about these "mold" stories and dissatisfied vacationers, I'm feeling a bit nervous about it.)We chose this hotel for the kids activities we saw on the website. Is a car neccessary in Aruba? Or would taxis be sufficient? If so, can anyone recommend a car rental agency. I would assume to pick it up at the airport??? Rent a car and there is nothing wrong with LaCabana. Was there for 1 nite last week and all is well with LaCabana. If you are in a Villa and there is a problem, try to change the Unit. There was some mold 2 yrs ago in our Unit at Ocean Club. Try www.ECNO for a car. You will save $ with a car. E mail me directly for other questions....

I stayed in the lacabana this past Dec. I loved it and it is great for the kids. Top dollar car rental is what i use. Pretty cheap. Does save alot of money. Than taking cabs
