Caribbean Palm Village

Going to Aruba for the first time. Can anyone tell me about the Caribbean Palm Village? I'm hoping it's a nice place.

Don't expect to walk to the beach. It is not beachfront property. Probably a mile away. You will definitely need a rental car unless you plan on staying at the Village the whole time you are there. The restaurant on the property, Valentino's, is a wonderful restaurant but very expensive. Nice for one dinner while you are there.

Re: Caribbean Palm Village

Never stayed there but people who own there seem to enjoy it. Just wanted to advise you in case you didn't know that due to it's location for convenience sake you'll probably want to rent a car unless you plan to spend most of your daytime hours at the resort pool and only go out at night. If you're a beach person they do have beach priviledges at one of the resorts, not sure which one, and do have a van or something that will take you and bring you back, not sure how often in a day they do that tho. Hopefully someone who owns there or has stayed there can give you more info.

Re: Caribbean Palm Village

The Resort is very quite, not as much to do as lets say LaCabana but its very clean and they do have the largest rooms on the Island.
A car is recommened to rent right on the grounds is a Thrifty car rental, shopping is easy their is a food mart right up the road in walking distance, one good resturant on the grounds for dinner the coffe shop need much improvement, the pools are beautiful their are tow,the grounds are well kept.
Don't buy from the Resort if you would consider owning a time share their buy private.
Yes I do own their and mosty use it for trading. Enjoy your trip to Aruba where ever you stay the Island is the best.

Re: Caribbean Palm Village

They have a shuttle that takes you to a from the beach right at Moomba. You should DEFINITELY rent a car.

I stayed at CPV in April and LOVED it...had everything i was looking for.

Clean rooms, nice pools, friendly staff...

Enjoy,
chris

Re: Caribbean Palm Village

my wife and I stayed at Holiday Inn... unfortunately we arrived there the Thursday before Natalee disappeared... but the place was nice, right on the beach and next to all water activities. I suggest no "all inclusive", because there's tons of places around to eat... and nice. You might want to call on your own, and book the room... They were all very nice, and the girls from Palm Tours are on the lobby, and they will help you with any requests, reservations that you might want to do.
Take care, and enjoy... I am sure you'll have a great time.
