casa del mar question

Is it true that Casa del Mar and ABC resorts have parted ways? Are they no longer allowed to share beach areas and resort facilities ? Thanks.

Re: casa del mar question

As for the beach, ALL beaches are public in Aruba. you just can't use the huts, chairs in front of other resorts unless you are a guest there. you can throw a towel down anywhere in the sand.

Re: casa del mar question

Sorry but Tina doesn't know about Abc and CDM. Yes they have split as far as sharing costs, etc., but as far as the beach, pool and huts we were just there and we were still sharing the facilities. People from ABC were at the CDM pool and people from CDM were on the beach at ABC. We still use their facilities and they ours. To the guests nothing has changed -

Re: casa del mar question

As for Marianne, I do know what I am talking about. Above I said "AS FOR THE BEACH" it is ALL public. I made no mention of the facility agreements between those 2 "specific resorts." Maybe you ought to increase your general knowledge of Aruba as a whole and not just those 2 resorts.

Re: casa del mar question

Tina - do you live on the island? Well, we now do and know the rules and regulations pertaining to it. Yes the beaches are all public and because ABC and CDM are sister resorts we can use eachother's facilities and furniture. The question had to do with these two resort's beaches, huts and other facilities if you read it and nothing more than that.
