Alot of questions.
1) I heard you can rent a cell phone by the week, has anyone tried this and where do you do it?
2) Last time (2 years ago) I was in Aruba I bought a few Cubans and over paid, does anyone know any of a store where they are reasonable?
3) First time without the Kids, and we're looking for a sunset or evening cruise. Any ideas?

1)Cell phones u can rent from the hotels. I get mine from top dollar car rental when i get off the plane. 26.00 for week. The phone cards u get @ the hotels or any gas station.


2)cigars- downtown in the mall.


3)sunset cruise- not sure. ask @ the desk @ hotel. Or any watersports hut on beach!!!

I always rent cell phones with Arubafastphones. You can order it on line and just pick it up at the airport lobby when you leave. Ask for Charles the proprietor. He always treats us great. The website is arubafastphones.com .
As far as the sunset sail, we have always gone on the palm pleasure. Munchies and drinks and a great crew. There are others on the beach, you can't miss them.

Re: the cell phone, first check with your provider as some of the phone's now get service there. Alternatively, if you plan on going back to the island, buy a phone and then minute cards. It is much cheaper in the long run.

For a romatic dinne, go to Flying Fishbone. Make reservations well in advance and make sure to ask for a table right on the ocean -- as the tables are all on the beach. Wait for a good table. Get it for sunset.
