Comparing the Aruba Grand with the Holiday Inn

We leave on Sat. for Aruba and the Holiday Inn. We usually stay at the Aruba Grand but we couldn't get a room this year and we are a bit apprehensive about the Holiday Inn even though we booked it. Can anyone compare the Aruba Grand with the Holiday Inn?

Holiday Inn is a larger hotel, little shops and more places to eat. We like the beach at the AG better. You will be in Aruba, relax and enjoy.

Yes, I would probably agree with the beach as the Grand has a large beach and fewer people to use it. But what about the rooms?

Re: Comparing the Aruba Grand with the Holiday Inn

I think there are a few posts on the HI rooms on page 10. As far as comparing the 2 resorts a friend who has stayed at both said the rooms at the AG were slightly larger but not enough to make a difference. I will be anxious to hear how you compare the 2. Please post when you return.
