Divi-All Inclusive

This is will be our family's first visit to Aruba in July and we will be staying at the Divi. Typically, how does the food rate at the Divi? Thanks.

Re: Divi-All Inclusive

The food is okay. Great pizza available all day until 1 am. The Red Parrot (I think) has seating outside and was excellent. Wasn't too fond of the buffet. You can also use the restaurants at the Tam and the italian one was great too.

Are you doing all inclusive? If not, definitely check out some other island restaurants. If so, spend the money and still go out to an island restaurant one or two nights... it still ends up being cheaper than not doing all inclusive at all!

Re: Divi-All Inclusive

You can't stay at the Divi or the Tam and NOT do the AI.

We thought the dinner was fair to poor and expected as much. We dinner out twice El Gaucho once AWESOME, the breafast and lunch at the resorts were very good.

Re: Divi-All Inclusive

Stayed at the Divi/Tam last year. We loved breakfast the best. We would have a huge breakfast and then have a late-afternoon meal i.e. pizza, turkey club sandwich, chicken fingers etc which would hold us over. Snacks are available until the wee hours. The dinner buffets were ok. We found the food on the dinner buffet to be a bit heavy--lots of sauces and gravies. The fresh fruit is awesome. Milk is a bit funky--we were told it is goat's milk. We loved being able to sit outside to eat. We didn't like the italian restaurant at the Tam at all. The pasta was very different. Nobody in our party of 5 enjoyed that meal. We couldn't get reservations in the red parrot the entire week that we were there but heard excellent reviews. Have a great time!!
