Divi in June

Wow- i can't believe this is such an awesome site. We will be going to the Divi in the middle of June. A friend of ours was there a couple of years ago and just loved it. Anyone who's been there please share your good and bad experiences. We are looking for a bit of seclusion and this seemed like a good place to start. Dose anyone know of anyother "safe" and secluded beaches?

Re: Divi in June

I heard Baby beach is really nice, though when I was in Aruba before (4 yrs ago) We didnt make it there.

On the side of the resort closets to the Cruise ship dock ... there is a public beach... and last time I was there, there was never anyone there!

I stayed at the Bushiri.. which is now closed... but that public beach was inbetween the Bushiri and the Tam/Divi.

Re: Divi in June

Mark&Rita,
My husband and I stayed at the Divi (all incl)a few years back and we had a GREAT time!!!The beaches however are not the best. But you can find some seclusion if you walk down towards the "Tam".We are going back in May and will be Staying at The Wyndham this time.Just for a change.I will check out while I am there for some areas that are more secluded and get back to you when I return....Just a tip!Make sure that you ask to be in the building that offers the better ocean views.Tell them it is your anniv.or something like that and you will get a nicer room!!!Have a great trip!!

Re: Divi in June

The beaches were just restored at the divi/tam weeks ago. See some older pix of divi/tam at my website www.geocities.com/THEFEEL2002

Also see 2 short movies at www.geocities.com/movietamdivi and also at www.geocities.com/moviearuba They are a class "B" movie so I could fit them on the free site and e-mail them. So you might find them a little blurry and some colors are not as deep as they really are.
