Post Divi Phoenix

Has anyone stayed at the Divi Phoenix recently. I keep getting such mixed reviews about the resort now I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should change resorts/. Any information would be greatly appreciated, I will be going with my boyfriend.

While not our "home" resort we have stayed at the Phoenix many times
over the years. In both the tower and the villas.
Always found the staff to be friendly and professional.
Housekeeping likewise.
Tower elevators are, well, cranky.
Found the studios, 1BRs and 2BRs comfortable and with adequate space.
Like the location. Nice walk up the beach to the hi-rise resorts on Palm Beach.
Butterfly farm next door. A "quiet" resort and restful. A really nice beach and
excellent "float" water due to the two rock jetties. A nice plus is all the marine
life that hangs out by these rock jetties.
Awesome views from the tower units.
Pool? Small. Restaurant? Not bad food. Sometimes the service is a bit slow.
French Deli has incredible sandwiches. A great lunch for a very good price.
Not the RIU, Hyatt, etc. but certainly a solid contender for a good place to be
while visiting Aruba and enjoying what makes Aruba special.
