DIVI VILLAGE

Hello;

I have been visiting Aruba for many years but this August is the first time that I will be staying at the Dutch Village. I understand that these units are being renovated and there's loads of construction going on. Can anyone tell me if I should try to change my reservation for another hotel/timeshare? Also, if I stay at the Dutch Village in a room that is not renovated, are they pretty run down or are they ok to stay in. Thanks for your help.

Pam

Re: DIVI VILLAGE

Pam,

I was just there. Lots of construction going on near Tamarijn entrance end with new buildings, not at far end of tamarijn where older ones are. They all looked good from what I saw, very little noise from them, Tamarijn 1400 bldg. construction, Tamarijn lobby construction, and Divi Village golf course across the street. If this still leaves you concerned, try to switch to the Divi Village or Divi Phoenix.
