Economy lodging in Aruba

I'm thinking about sneaking down to Aruba for a few nights while the wife is on a business trip. I have family that work for the airlines so my main expense will be a Hotel room. Since I will be coming by myself I'm really not concerned about how fancy my hotel or room will be. I mainly want to relax eat at Iguana Joes a couple times and do some snorkeling and maybe get in a few dives. I don't normally mind spending money on nice hotels but the wife would have a fit if I spent 250.00 a night on a hotel while she's stuck working. I was hoping to find a decent economy lodge close to a beach for under 100.00 per night. I realize the resorts are going to be more but I can't find any budget lodging. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't want to rent a car, so I would prefer something close by a nice beach. Any help would be appreciated.

I have stayed at the sasaki apartments and they were really cute! Near Lacabana and not too far from anything. I think it is www.sasaki.com and it is very affordable!

Re: Economy lodging in Aruba

Hi Dave,
It depends what your dates are. Please write me a letter at emylopez3@hotmail.com and I can give you some nice prices to stay. It will be not to far from Eagle Beach, close to La Cabana. I have studio's with pool, jacuzzi, I have just nice apartments, nothing fancy but clean and payable. Let me hear something from you.]
Best regards, Emy

Re: Economy lodging in Aruba

I actually have a couple of suggestions for you:

Quality Apartments (011-297-582-0697)
Raspberry Courtyards (raspberryaruba.com)
Aruba Sunflower (arubasunflower.com)

They are all very nice, very clean and very reasonably priced. Good Luck!
