There has been a false rumor that the Ocean Club will not enter re-sales until the Surf Club is sold out. This is NOT true. I just got confirmation that Marriott Legal department has started process of papers to enter the re-sale program at the Ocean Club. This should take only a few months. The starting price on 1 bedroom units in Platinum season will be around $17,900.
I believe that all re-sales will start somewhere near the final Developer end sales.
The price should only increase from here.

How much do you think the Marriott is paying to "buy back" a unit? We purchased 2, 2bed units at the surf club, and were going to sell our 1bedroom unit at the ocean club for 13,000??? Maybe I should just wait until Jan when we go and check it out? Any ideas? thanks

I'm not sure you are right. We just returned from the Ocean Club, and they are not interested in buying back any units, unless you are upgrading from a platinum to platinum plus. Who did you speak with at Marriott Legal?

We also bought into the Surf Club.
