Glamping. If available would you try?

GLAMPING= a new kind of travel, "glamorous camping".

I have always said that my idea of camping is the laundry view room at a Holiday Inn.

Check out this Glamping and regular room resort in the BVI.

I am not a big outdoorsy kind of person, but if something like this were available on Aruba and was not ungodly expensive, I think we'd try it.
Keywords: real bathroom, bug protection, good fan or air-conditioning, bed linens, electric outlets, wifi, large enough safe to lock valuables.

Glamping, could be a big maybe for me.

(disclosure.....we did camping in an RV at Disney's Ft Wilderness and it was NOT horrible. I actually enjoyed it.)

I loved camping. Went every summer growing up, glamping then was a pop up trailer which was actually quite comfortable. When Tom and I got married we went once and Tom was nope, not for me. I definitely would do it in Aruba but I would probably be by myself!

There would be ZERO chance I would go camping in Aruba. My idea of camping is an RV with all the features of home.

Let me put it this way. If the Ritz had a camping event catered I would skip it, lol. I am not a camping person as I value my limited sleep to much. I hate noises when I am trying to sleep and the outside is full of noises...Nope, I will still pass.

That resort is not "glamped" enough for me. LOL!

The first thing I asked Buddy was if he camped. No. Okay, we get a second date.

I am considering renting a luxury camper in FT Wilderness, but so far we have opted for a resort. I just cannot bring myself to do it yet.

We camped all the time. However it was in fifth wheels with 3 pull outs...bigger than a tiny house. But still a lot of work.
So I would really have to think about that one. Now Lou would do it in a minute.
Have to laugh though my son went camping with the boys scouts and was modified. Called and asked if the "bridges" to cape cod was close (he leader told him that) cause he just couldn't sleep in a tent.

It looks cool, but I'd be concerned about privacy and security.
