Hoilday Inn

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn???
We are looking at either the Hoilday Inn or the Marriott.
We will be staying for 10 nights.

RE: Hoilday Inn

There is quite a difference between the Holiday Inn and Marriott. Marriott is a 5 star hotel and a bit separated from the other hotels. Holiday Inn is on a beautiful stretch of beach but the pool is extremely small and food (if you choose to go all-inclusive) is not that great. Go to Travel Unlimited website at http://www.travelunlimited.com and you will see that they rate some of the hotels. They also have great prices and excellent service!

I am just trying to setermine if it is worth staying at such a high rise hotel or not. we have decided to not do all inclusive because we want to explore the island.

RE: Hoilday Inn

The Marriott was doing some construction still on a separate building off of the main area but the main area looked finished to me. The Marriott is MUCH better than the Holiady Inn. Personally I think the Holiday Inn is a dump

The Hyatt is the best High Rise in my Opinion. Very beautiful place and grounds.

RE: Hoilday Inn

I think it depends on what you want to spend. I always stay at the holiday inn, as the price is right, the rooms are large and nice, and the beach is beautiful. The pool is not that great, but when i go to aruba, I go for the beach, not the pool. If you can, get an oceanfront room, absolutely incredible views. you would pay 4 times that amount for an oceanfront in another hotel. Great casino also.
