Holiday Inn question

I know with other hotels (like the Radisson) you can email the hotel prior to your trip and ask for a certain tower or floor, etc. upon check-in. Has anyone ever tried this with the Holiday Inn and if so, did they honor your request? Do you have the email address where I would send this request?

Thank you!

Re: Holiday Inn question

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that makes me laugh. I am sorry to laugh, but I stayed at holiday inn for 3 years in a row. Then i bought a timeshare at the surf club to insure myself of a good room. With holiday inn i would ask for a non smoking room (and have it on my reservation). Then when you get there they claim they do not have any. This also goes for my king size bed i requested. Then they said they do have a room for me.. I got one that had mold in the room. I changed the next day to one that looked down into their dumpster. The worst thing is they claim check in is at 4 pm.. good luck with that one. But i will let you experience that for yourself. I dont like giving negative press, but they deserve it.

Re: Holiday Inn question

You will find it on their website. I had reserved from a tour operator (Sunquest) and asked to be in the renovated tower. I was not given that. I guess it was not part of Sunquest's package; although I was not offered an upgrade for a price either.

Re: Holiday Inn question

The girl gone missing has nothing to do with the Holiday Inn.

I have always emailed the Holiday Inn for a specific Tower and they have always given us what we wanted. One year we did not really like our room location and they gave us another one no problem. Now the Radisson did not honor our request last year. We requested their main tower and when we checked in we were told they couldn't guarntee us the main tower. Never should have switched...going back to the Holiday Inn for the sixth time!!!
