Holiday Inn Sunspree

Does anyone know if the Holiday Inn Sunspree has changed its name. I have a chance to go and cannot find it on any of the maps. Is it near the downtown? I see a Holiday Inn near the Marriott is this the same one?

Confused

Yes it is the one by the Marriott (high rise hotel zone). I just got back from there 2 days ago. I had a blast. Mathias at the lobby bar is the best! He makes sure your drink is always full. I'll I have to say to you is go,go,go!!!! You will not regreat it. If you can get an ocean front room do it!!! The sunset is outstanding.

Re: Holiday Inn Sunspree

Hi Luke. We spent a week at the Holiday Inn this past January, and will be heading back again next year.
Breakfast is fairly good, although the same everyday.
Lunch at the Seabreeze is good.
Dinner outside, with live entertainment every night, is good, but dinner inside at the Miramar, is outstanding! We loved it. They let us reserve 4 nights, so there were no limits, which was nice. If going All Inclusive, there are a couple of items, such as Lobster, that will cost you a few bucks extra, but we never had to, found lots of other items that were just general AI. A few bucks for Lobster though is well worth it!
All in all, the food is not outstanding (except the Miramar), but just good. We were please and will be back next January!

Re: Holiday Inn Sunspree

Brenda, Thanks for the update on the food at the Holiday Inn. My wife and I are going back to Aruba in Dec. and decided to stay at the Holiday Inn and go all-inclusive. Anything else we should know about the Holiday Inn? Pool? Although we will spend most of the days at the beach. Rooms? Bars?

Re: Holiday Inn Sunspree

My husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn the first week in April, but did not get the all inclusive...instead ate at the Buccaneer (wonderful with fish swimming all around the tables, and also went to Twinklebones (the highlight of the trip) Twinklebones has great food and the entertainment was the best with singing, danceing, etc. We saved a bunch by not getting the all-inclusive! One night ate subs next door at Playa Linda.

Re: Holiday Inn Sunspree

Trying to plan a trip with my husband and 23, 21, and 16 year old kids. Would you suggest going all-inclusive and is there enough for these kids to do. WE were there years ago and know there are great restaurants--
