Hi, I'm deciding on where to book my honeymoon. We are thinking the Wyndam or Allegra. Can anyone tell me more about either two hotels. I think we are leaning towards the Wyndam. Is it nice for a honeymoon?

we just went to the wyndham for our 2nd honeymoon in january . it was a really nice hotel. we did the all inclusive and glad we did the drinks were about $7.00 for each frozen drink. We did have the most romantic dinner on the beach at AUZLL . we enjoyed it others did not some say there is a musty smell in the rooms but we did not have that. As a beach going person any hotel you may stay at near the beach has a chance of the "musty" smell . after all you are dealing with people comming and going in and out of the ocean and pool all day long and comming into hotel rooms wet .

I really think it all depends on your age group and the kind of honeymoon you want. We went to the Wyndham for our 25th Anniversary and had a wonderful time. We are in our (young) mid-50s. The Wyndham had a mixed age group - 20s-60s. One afternoon, we walked down to the Allegro and didn't like what we saw and were very glad that we chose the Wyndham. The Allegro was full of kids in their 20s and early 30s (many of them were honeymooners), who were drinking and partying 24/7. We have been there and done that when we were their age. We were looking for quiet, peaceful and romantic and we definitely found that at the Wyndham. I hope this information helps you.

The Allegro is a dump. The Wyndham has more class and is a much nicer place to stay.

I wouldn't stay at either. We stayed at the Wyndham for our honeymoon and we thought it was boring. Alot of other couples were complaining about the lack of entertainment. Happy hour band stunk!!! Beach was crowded, you should find a better place in Aruba to stay.

I think the Allegro is terrific. I cannot understand somone calling it a dump. I know several couples who spent their honeymoons there and loved it and that was in a hotel room. The timeshares are new and beautiful with great views.
