Hotwire

Has anyone ever booked a hotel on Palm Beach through Hotwire. They are offering a 4 star resort for only $95 a night. Of course you don't know exactly what resort it is until after you book.
My question is though, that the listing says palm beach- orjanstead and the map shows the available area going all the way down to Orjanstead. That wouldn't be Palm Beach would it?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Re: Hotwire

I used Hotwire for travel for our very first trip. I don't think there is a bad hotel on Palm Beach. They are all great but check the various hotel websites. There are some good deals there now.

Re: Hotwire

Dear Tiffany,

Here are the beaches in the order from the North, starting at the California Lighthouse:
Arashi Beach, Malmok Beach, Palm Beach (where most of the highrise hotels are located),Eagle Beach, Machebo Beach, Druif Beach (low rise hotels) then you reach the cruise ship terminal.

It is not clear to me what season you were looking for, but $95.00 per night must be at the low season and I can not think of any hotel which is 4 star having that kind of a rate even in the low season. You might want to check some other sites (Travelocity, Orbitz or the individual hotels directly) to see what rates they are offering and also what are their ratings.

Good luck!

Re: Hotwire

That probably is per person. It might be Holiday Inn or Occidental Aruba and there might be restrictions, like in the next two weeks.

Re: Hotwire

It's probably Holiday Inn. You can get the same price, however, from the Holiday Inn direct and know for sure what you are getting.
