How is the Occidental vs. Marriott timeshare?

I am thinking of renting a timeshare for week of April 19. Which do you think is nicer - the Occidental or Marriott timeshare?
Thanks,
Carol

Marriott Hands down!
Just came back from the Occidental....my brother was at the Marriott and we were greatly disappointed with the Occidental!
Will never stay there again....and this was our fourth time at the property (first time since the change over from the Allegro to the Occidental!
My brother just bought at the Marriott and it is a beautiful property!

Marriott Is The #1 Timeshare Property On The Island. We Have Two Villas At The Ocean Club And One At The Surf Club.

Just one more thing about the Occidental, that i've been told, when staying there you must buy the all inclusive plan.We own at the Surf Club, and yes it is great BUT......Where are we all going to stay when all the buildings are finished? Its going to get tight.

I've stayed at both......Marriott is very nice but quiet - if you like a little more excitement then stay at the Occidental. Marriott Ocean Club pool bar closes at 6pm each night and the property is way to quiet after that. Much more to do at the Occidental and the pool bar stays open late.
