How is Paradise Beach Villas?

I am planning my honeymoon for June 2004. My grandparents are giving us their timeshare. The only availability is with Paradise Beach Villas. Does anyone have feedback on this place? Does anyone know which hotels it is near?

Please help...

Re: How is Paradise Beach Villas?

Hi Deanna;

I only visited Paradise Beach Villas once...on a timeshare tour. The units are fairly new and nicely decorated. It is across the street from the beach and next to La Cabana. The beach is easily accessible so I wouldn't be concerned about it being across the street. I believe it is a smaller resort and at the time I was there, (February) there seemed to be mostly older people. It may have just happened to be that week though. It appeared to be very clean and everyone there said they enjoyed it very much. I don't know if this helps you, but I thought I'd share what I know. Have a great time in Aruba...you won't be sorry to chose this destination.

Re: How is Paradise Beach Villas?

I stayed 11 days @PBV. in Sept 03. If someone has given you a timeshare week, I am presuming it is II ? Rooms at PBV ar assigned randomly through the mgmt. I did not know this when I used my II week. My suggestion is you contact Bianca Biezen and ask for a room in new section 2nd floor and above. This way you will have oean view. I enjoyed my stay at PBV but the room in the back facing the parking lot did not have the best view. Clean, quiet and very nice people.

Yes, my grandparents are giving us their timeshare for our honeymoon through II. Thank you both for your replies. I am very excited about going to Aruba. Everyone tells me Aruba is the best vacation spot. Many return visitors.

Thanks again

I have exchanged there for two years. The staff is so great, especially Silvia and Nelson the bartenders. They will take care of you. The security staff is also wonderful. You are across the street from the beach and they supply cabanas for you.The rooms are like having a furnished apt.

Re: How is Paradise Beach Villas?

We exchanged there last easter. If you like quiet and not much going on--this is the place. The rooms in the old section-are old. Bedroom has no window. The street to cross to get to beach is busy.
You can only pick up towels 2x a day-that's it--early morning and about 4pm-if you miss those times your stuck. Front desk is not helpful--rather rude. You were kicked out of the pool or even hang around the pool area after 8pm. Aside from the pool-there are no activites except the bar.

Re: How is Paradise Beach Villas?

You are very luck to have grandparents with a timeshare in Aruba. This resort is the best on the island. They probably have an ocean or pool view or both as most units do. Ask them for pictures, for they will have some of the pools and Eagle Beach which is voted top ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Walk forever. Great sand, gentle surf, level and warm. Paradise does not have a lot of rugrats around to bug you on your honeymoon, nice for you. You have transportation available to take you to restaurants and casinos. Walk 1/2 hour to Palm Beach to visit hotels and visit the masses, it's great exercise and lots to see along the way.
Have fun and I know you will enjoy this gift.
Happy life.

Congratulations!! We went there on our 10th anniversary, loved it so much we bought and have been back every year. Just send an email to paradise@setarnet.aw to the staff with your questions or requests and they will take care of you. Don't forget to visit "Baby Beach".
